1. What is GYTS fiber optic cable?

  • GYTS fiber optic cable is a type of outdoor, armored fiber optic cable.

  • Its name indicates it is an outdoor cable (GY), with stranded loose tubes (T), and a corrugated steel tape armoring (S).
  • The steel tape provides enhanced protection against mechanical stress, moisture, and rodents.
