1. What is GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable?
  • GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable cables feature central loose tube wrapped with a layer of PSP longitudinally, excellent crush-resistant performance. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape, to ensure tensile strength.
  • GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable is completed with a single polyethylene (PE) sheath. This is suitable for aerial or duct environment for communication between bureaus, metropolitan network, access network.
  • GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable is water proof, small diameter (can do 6.0mm, 6.5mm, 7.0mm and 8.0mm) and light weight.
  • GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable is suitable for outdoor application such as aerial, duct or direct burial of digital transmission communication systems.
  • The structure of GYTXW Aerial Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable:

Central Loose Tube: Contains 2 to 24 colored optical fibers (singlemode or multimode as customer request) surrounded by a water-resistant filling gel to prevent moisture ingress.
Armoring layer: A layer of corrugated steel tape (PSP) is wrapped longitudinally around the central tube, providing excellent crush resistance and protection against rodents.
Strength Members: Two parallel steel wires are embedded on opposite sides of the cable to ensure high tensile strength, which is critical for overhead hanging between poles.
Outer Sheath: A durable black Polyethylene (PE) jacket provides UV protection and environmental resistance.
